THE ENGINE OF GROWTH & PARTNERSHIP

Sponsorship & Outreach Specialist Intern | April – October 2026

Are you a persuasive communicator who loves the thrill of closing a deal? Do you want to build a professional network that includes city leaders, business owners, and global manufacturers? LoveMyFrequency is seeking The Engine a high-energy Sponsorship & Outreach Specialist to drive the financial success of our dual-brand launch.

This isn’t just “sales.” You are the bridge between a community that wants to help and an athlete who needs to reach the world stage. You are the revenue driver who ensures our $10,000+ goal is met, turning digital views into real world impact.

THE MISSION

Your mission is to act as The Engine of the team. You are responsible for identifying, contacting, and securing the partnerships and funding necessary to fuel the “Road to Spain” campaign. Simultaneously, you will conduct vital market research to build the sustainable supply chain for the future of the LoveMyFrequency apparel line.

  1. LoveMyFrequency: A mission first digital platform dedicated to discipline, mindset, and youth empowerment.
  2. The Road to Spain: A high stakes campaign to raise $10,000+ and build a 50K+ audience for an elite Taekwondo athlete competing on the world stage.

YOUR ROLE: THE VISUAL ARCHITECT

You are the most external facing member of the team. While the others build the digital world, you are out in the “real world” building relationships. You are a 100% remote researcher and outreach expert focused on business development and professional persuasion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Prospecting: Build and manage a “Master Database” of local Albuquerque business owners, athletic directors, and community leaders who align with our mission.
  • The “Organic” Hunt: Research and vet Organic Clothing Manufacturers (both Domestic and International). Your goal is to find ethical partners to reduce our future production costs while maintaining “Elite” brand standards.
  • Sponsorship Sales: Pitch businesses, corporations & organization on our $250 – $1,000+ sponsorship tiers. You will deliver the value proposition of our 50,000+ projected digital reach.
  • Partner Fulfillment: Coordinate the delivery of “Official Supporter” plaques and ensure every sponsor receives their promised social media shoutouts and logo placements.
  • Media Outreach: Draft and send press releases to local news and sports blogs to secure media coverage for the athlete’s journey.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

  • Business Development: How to build a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system from scratch.
  • The Art of the Pitch: How to present a “Mission” to a business owner in a way that creates a “Yes.”
  • Global Supply Chain Research: The technical process of vetting international manufacturers for quality, ethics, and cost.
  • Public Relations: How to communicate with media outlets to turn a local story into a headline.

WHY THIS IS THE BEST MOVE FOR YOUR CAREER

  • Professional Certification: You will be awarded a formal Certificate of Completion documenting your countless hours of professional residency as a Sponsorship Outreach.
  • High-Level Networking: You will personally interact with the top business entrepreneur minds. You aren’t just an intern; you are the professional representative of a USA Athlete campaign.
  • Revenue Results: Being able to say, “I personally secured $10,000+ in corporate sponsorships,” is a massive differentiator on a resume for any Business or Marketing role.
  • Maximum Flexibility: 10–12 hours per week. Remote work focused on outreach and results, allowing you to manage your own schedule and meetings.
  • No Overhead: No commute, no on-site liability. Build a professional grade portfolio from home.
  • The “Gold Standard” Letter: At the end of October, receive a signed Letter of Recommendation detailing your sales targets hit and the partnerships you secured.

THE POWER OF NETWORK

They say “Your network is your net worth.” In this role, you aren’t just sending emails; you are opening doors. Every business owner you meet is a potential future employer, mentor, or partner. By being “The Engine,” you are building a professional ecosystem that will serve you for the rest of your career.

THE REWARD

  • The Bonus: If we reach our goal by the deadline, every team member receives a $300 performance stipend. As the primary revenue driver, you are the hero who triggers this bonus for the whole team.
  • The Legacy: You will be the founding Sponsorship lead for LoveMyFrequency, setting the standard for how we fund future community projects.
  • Future Growth: Top performers may have the opportunity to continue working with LoveMyFrequency as the platform scales.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Current student or recent grad in Business, Professional Sales, Communications, or Entrepreneurship.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You must be comfortable making phone calls and sending professional emails.
  • “The Hunter Mindset:” You are persistent, organized, and don’t take “no” for an answer.
  • Experience with Google Sheets/Excel or similar for tracking data is essential.
  • Ability to check in daily via Slack/Discord/Email and attend two 30 minute weekly video calls.
  • AI skills.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

Required Uploads:

  1. Resume: Show us past projects you have managed. Provide your best work that highlight any past experience in sales, customer service, or research.
  2. Portfolio:  Please provide a link to case study or folder showing past that shows achievements in fundraising, event management, or community engagement, including specific metrics and outcomes. Examples of previous sponsorship proposals, marketing materials, or event campaigns.
  3. Visual Architect Questions:
    • A local business owner loves the athlete’s story but doesn’t see the business value in sponsoring. How do you explain the “ROI” of our 50K reach?
    • We need to find organic clothing manufacturers with low overhead. What is your step-by-step process for vetting a new global supplier?
    • If a potential $1,000 sponsor stops responding to emails, what is your professional strategy to “re-warm” that lead without being annoying?
    • If AI could only do one part of your job, which would you choose and why?

Deadline to Apply: April 8th. Internship begins April 13th.
